for the phase when so much shifts
Pilates and menopause.
Menopause touches a lot at once: your sleep, your mood, how you feel in your body. Pilates is a gentle, lovely way to stay moving and in balance through this phase. No miracle cure, just a quiet moment for yourself, in a small group.

A few years of change
Menopause is not a single switch but a period, often a few years in which all sorts of things gradually shift. For one woman it is gentle, for another it comes with quite a few symptoms. No two women experience it in exactly the same way.
What most women do share: it helps to keep taking good care of yourself. Resting, moving in a way that feels good, staying in touch with your body. Not to “fight” anything, but to feel more comfortable in a phase that asks plenty of you.
Pilates fits beautifully with that. It is calm and building, you work on strength and posture, and you get three quarters of an hour entirely to yourself. Do you have medical concerns or doubts? Talk them over with your GP. We are not a medical institute, just a lovely place to keep moving.
what women tell us
What you notice after a while
- More calm. Many women feel calmer after a class and sleep more easily because of it.
- Stronger and taller. Your core and posture grow steadier, which feels good for your belly, back and neck.
- A happier pelvic floor. You train it in a natural way, together with your breath.
- A better mood. Moving well in a cosy little group simply does something for your day.
- Back in touch with your body. Perhaps the loveliest part: three quarters of an hour where you really feel how you are doing.
what we offer
Not about performance, but real training
In a group of no more than 4 women you work at your own pace. No competitive energy, no hyperventilating music. Just a build-up in which you notice you are getting stronger, your breath grows fuller and your body feels less like a stranger.
On a day when you have slept badly, you get a gentler class. In a week full of energy, you get something more challenging. Ruby adjusts that in real time, because she knows you.
Pilates pairs well, by the way, with any other movement you enjoy: a brisk walk, cycling, or a bit of strength training. But you don't have to: for many women this weekly moment is exactly enough to keep feeling good.
