A calm introduction to pilates in a group of no more than 4 women. No obligation, no subscription, no performance culture. Just room to breathe, control, and attention.
what you can expect
Forty-five minutes for yourself
The class lasts 45 minutes and always starts with checking in: how are you doing today, where are you holding tension, where would you like to find calm. Then breathing, slowly waking up the core, and after that a build-up of exercises that combine strength and mobility.
No pounding house beat, no bootcamp energy. Just a gentle build-up with attention for technique and breathing. Ruby moves around the room, corrects where needed and offers alternatives if an exercise is too hard or too easy for you that morning.
We finish with grounding exercises and a short mindful moment. You walk out with more space in your body than you came in with.
practical
Before you come
- Bring: a mat (we have spares too), a water bottle, comfortable clothing.
- Be on time: arrive 5 minutes early so Ruby can have a quick word with you about any aches or injuries.
- Eating: nothing heavy beforehand. A light breakfast or a piece of fruit is fine.
- Injuries: let us know in advance via WhatsApp so we can adapt the class accordingly.
- Location: until September 2026 Sportpark Landsmeer, and from October in Badhoevedorp.
